It's so different

This is a picture of the appartment bathroom. notice how the toilet is seperate from everthing else. The shower also has no curtain.

3 Days

For a full 3 days we looked at this wondering what the heck it was. Then we found out that we had been looking at a 4 story underground shopping mall. It was right outside our appartment and we didn't have the slightest clue.
The mall was darn "hot." It had an outside area too! I would say that this mall beats Oakwood, or Mayfair by a long shot.

The largest all though Paris

The largest RER station was connected to the 4 story underground shopping mall. This RER station came right out behind our appartment when we arrived, but we didn't know it yet. So, we were all looking for our appartment and Hannah said, "Is that it?" and it was. Now she says, "Do I have to state the obvious?"

Smart Car

This is the absolute first picture that we took while we were walking around in Paris. This is a Smart Car. It holds two people and it gets about 240 miles to the gallon. But they don't sell gas by the gallon in France. It is such an awsome car!

Hampster

While we were eatting on the Champs, Hannah made this face. We all thought that it was so funny that we had to take a picture of it. Once we started laughing, she started laughing, so it was hard for her to make the face for a long period of time. We had to be quick when taking the picture. Doesn't she look so funny?

Dig In!

This picture is of me at a café eatting a fruit bowl. The fruit that is in my hand was actually my least favorite one in the entire bowl.

Exotic Fruit

This is a photo of the exotic fruit bowl that I am eatting in the above picture. When I ordered it, I had no idea that it would be so big, or have so many fruits that I had never seen or heard of.

147 Stairs

This picture was taken as Hannah and I climed and counted all of the 147 stairs up to the top to get to the Sacre Couer Church. We could see this church from almost anywhere in Paris.

From anywhere in Paris!

This is a picture of the Sacre Couer. This is what we climed the 147 stairs to get to.

Café du Flore

This picture was taken at Café du Flore. Hannah and I each got a 7 Euro hot cocoa. That would be about 10 Dollars for one hot cocoa in the United States.

Quazimoto's Bell

This is a photo that I took of the Notre Dame. We were originally going to go on Wed, but the line was so long that we decided to go the next morning. Then we heard Quazimoto's bell.

All by myself

This photo is of me. We were at a café and I was busy taking pictures so I decided to take one of myself, and It turned out pretty good.

Goats Galore

This picture was taken at the Picasso Museum in Paris. We took this photo because we saw several pieces of artwork that included a goat, so we thought that we should take a picture of at least one goat.

56,000

This is a photo of the Centre Pompidou. The Pomidou has a total of 56,000 works inside. This museum is my favorite out of all of the ones that we went to.

WOW!

This is a picture of me standing next to a piece of artwork at the Centre-Pompidou.

Newspaper...

This is a painting that was done by Antonio Segui. The background of this painting is a newspaper. Segui used some of the pictures from the newspaper and outlined them, or added things to them, and then did his own creations as well to add to the piece.

Train Station???

This is a picture of the Musée d'orsay. Originally, this building was a train station. Actually, it was the first train station in France.

Inside...

This photo was taken from the inside of the Musée d'orsay. The circle on the window at in the middle of the picture is a very large clock.

During our navigation...

This picture was taken of me at the Louvre during our long navigation through the very large museum.

Napoleon's tribute

The Arc de Triomphe is an arc in paris at the end of the Champs-Elysée. Napoleon created this arc as a tribute to the French army. This arc is a round about that has 12 different streets comming together. That is the worlds largest round about.

35,000

This is a picture of the Louvre. Inside the Louvre, there are 35,000 pieces of artwork. The Louvre is the best known museum in France.

234 meters high!

Everyone knows about the Eiffel Tower. When I went toParis, I got to go to the very top of the tower. I could see for miles! I also found out that the Tower gets repainted every 7 years, and takes 3 years to paint it. There are 25 painters and they only use bushes to paint the Tower. If you were to paint the Eiffel Tower, you would use 60 tons of paint. That is 120,000 pounds of paint. I can't even imagine what that would look like if it were in a bunch of buckets.
